Let me start by saying, we are frequent customers. The pizzas are very good. The garlic knots are good. The stromboli had way too much bread but the inside was good. I am very upset about the calzone. Any time I've ever ordered a calzone from a pizzeria, it came with ham and the different cheeses. If you want a different meat or multiple meats, that would be asked for. The calzone we just got was bread and the cheeses, that's it! The bread was an inch wide around the rounded half and 2 inches at the ends. Just the bread was a 1/2 inch thick through the middle. I guess what was lacking in meat was made up with bread. I called and asked where the ham was and the girl said there's do not come with ham. When you Google calzone, it comes with bread, A MEAT, and the cheeses. There are different variations but the standard is that. The theme for the night I guess was way too much bread. That was a $50 learning lesson.
Maybe we should have just stuck with the pizza which it seemed like everyone was eating. Hopefully the chef was having an off day but don't think we will stop by here anytime soon.
Great pizza, very good service, big menue, very excellently prepared, generous, and tasty.
Girlfriend and I tried this pizzeria (about 3 weeks ago) from word of mouth by her parents. We just moved to the area so we are trying new places as well. The restaurant even had a lot of customers so we went in thinking it was going to be a decent meal. What a total let down.
Gourmet quality selections of pizza all the time. They also make a great hamburger besides italian soups, calzones, lasagna, ravioli, meatball subs, and specials. Nice sit down atmosphere with comfortable booths and service.
Her dinner was supposed to be a panini. What she got was a big chicken wrap with grill marks to look like a panini. Waitress didn't even ask what she wanted for a side dish and just gave her a handful of french fries. She only finished half of the meal, so asked for a box to go. Meal was so bad we forgot the box on the table after we paid.
She ordered the fried pickles and they were definitely not cooked well. Instead of slicing them like you are supposed to do, they used half of pickle. Still hard as a rock and the breading just fell right off. We had better hopes for dinner but we were wrong. I ordered the Spaghetti with clams. Pasta was overcooked and the sauce was very bland. You would think at an Italian Restaurant you would get cheese on the spaghetti or maybe the waitress would bring some over, Nope. Also came with the blandest garlic bread I ever tasted. It was like they smeared watered down tomato sauce on bread and called it a day.
